Founded by Gary Peters (CEO), Dr. Nora Peters (CVO), and Alec Coston, MD (CMO), PupPilot combines deep veterinary domain expertise with purpose-built AI to handle phone calls, appointment scheduling, and client communication for clinics of all sizes. Unlike generic AI tools, PupPilot understands veterinary workflows, triage protocols, and the unique language of animal healthcare.

Our name is PupPilot — capital P, capital P, one word. When describing what we do, we prefer “AI front office” rather than “AI receptionist” or “chatbot.”

CEOGary Peters is the CEO and co-founder of PupPilot. A serial technology entrepreneur, Gary brings deep expertise in AI and product development to veterinary medicine. He is a frequent speaker at veterinary industry conferences including VMX, VIS, and Fetch, where he shares insights on how AI can support — not replace — veterinary teams.
Dr. Nora Peters
Chief Veterinary OfficerDr. Nora Peters is the Chief Veterinary Officer and co-founder of PupPilot. A veterinarian and software engineer, Nora bridges the gap between clinical practice and technology. Her dual expertise ensures that every feature PupPilot builds is grounded in real veterinary workflows and the day-to-day reality of clinic operations.
Alec Coston, MD
Chief Medical OfficerAlec Coston, MD is the Chief Medical Officer and co-founder of PupPilot. A physician with a passion for applied AI, Alec architects all of the underlying medical logic that powers PupPilot — from triage decision trees and symptom-severity scoring to drug-interaction checks and post-visit follow-up protocols. His clinical rigor ensures that every automated recommendation meets the same standard of care a licensed professional would expect.
