What a veterinary website costs in 2026, and what the contract says
Few veterinary website companies publish a price. This guide lists the ones that do, what each price includes, and what their terms say about renewal, leaving and who owns the domain and content. Every figure comes from the company's own page, with the date it was read.
The short answer
Published prices for a site on a company's own platform run from $109 a month (eVetSites, for clinics with a VIN membership; $169 for others) to a starting price of $327 a month (LifeLearn WebDVM), and VetMatrix says its plans start from $99 without naming the plan or the billing period. Agencies that publish a price charge a build or design fee and a monthly fee (Digital Empathy: $2,750 to build and $199 a month; Vet Marketing Agency: $499 to design and $699 a month; HostVet: $599 a month for the first year, while the design fee is paid off, then $399), and monthly marketing packages such as VetNetwork's run from $1,997 to $7,997 a month, with no website build line. PupPilot's website is $100 a month per clinic plus $25 a month per location, so a single-location clinic pays $125 a month, with no activation fee; that's inside the platform range.
Prices and terms, company by company
One row per company, in alphabetical order. "Not published" means the company's pages give no price for its website service.
| Company | Published price | What it includes | Contract and leaving | Who owns the domain and content | What you take if you leave | Source and date |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Also $299 for a blog post, $499 for a page of copy, $299 a month for Google Ads management, $299 a month for intake and $399 a month per location for call insights (pricing). | The build: discovery, every page designed from scratch, homepage copy, technical SEO, domain transfer and DNS, and unlimited revisions. The monthly fee: hosting, security, maintenance, technical SEO, an analytics dashboard and "most updates" (websites). | Month to month; any service can be cancelled with 30 days' notice (pricing). Its terms renew monthly, count the notice back from the monthly date the agreement was accepted, and charge fees through the date termination takes effect. Monthly payments start right away, not at launch. | Its terms: when the relationship ends, Digital Empathy keeps its proprietary software and the clinic keeps all rights to the content. No page says who registers the domain. | The content, under its terms. Its healthcare marketing page says unlimited website edits are included. The site stays on its hosting for the length of the contract. | Its contract renews automatically every twelve months unless the clinic gives written notice at least 30 calendar days before a term ends (paras. 6 and 7). If a minimum term was agreed and the clinic cancels before it ends, the early-termination fee is $999, on top of any outstanding balance (para. 8). | Its contract (para. 14) makes Doctor Multimedia "the sole owner of the content pages" it integrates, lets the clinic keep what the clinic created (para. 35), and doesn't say who owns the domain. Its healthcare marketing page says the domain, website and content stay in the clinic's name. | Its contract (para. 12): the website's files, database and content, packaged for download. Doctor Multimedia isn't responsible for moving the site to another host. | Contract (no date on the page), service levels, healthcare marketing and AEO signup, read October 8, 2026 |

What to ask before you sign
Ask every company these five questions, and look for the answers in the agreement you'd sign as well as on its website. The table above gives what each company's own pages and terms say.
- Who holds the domain registration?
- If we leave, what do we take?
- What does the agreement say about renewal and leaving early?
- What does a change to the site cost, and who makes it?
- What can you tell us about the calls the site produces?
The head-to-heads go through them for three of these companies: PupPilot vs VetMatrix, PupPilot vs Doctor Multimedia and PupPilot vs LifeLearn. The best veterinary website companies guide compares the field on contract, ownership, edits and call reporting as well as price.
Where PupPilot sits
PupPilot's website costs $100 a month per clinic plus $25 a month per location, so a single-location clinic pays $125 a month, with no activation fee. That covers unlimited website management: SEO, SEO audits, GEO audits and unlimited updates, forms and hosting included.
Your domain is yours. It stays registered to you, and PupPilot will manage its DNS for you if you'd like, at no extra charge. The words and pictures on your site are yours too, and PupPilot makes no claim to them. You can leave whenever you like, and you're free to copy your content to wherever you go next.
PupPilot's answers to the five questions:
- Who holds the domain registration? You do.
- If we leave, what do we take? Your domain and your content.
- What does the agreement say about renewal and leaving early? No long-term contract required. You can leave whenever you like.
- What does a change to the site cost, and who makes it? Nothing extra. You ask in a chat and PupPilot makes it; updates are unlimited.
- What can you tell us about the calls the site produces? Every call, with its recording, transcript and summary, because PupPilot runs the phones.
The veterinary website design page shows how PupPilot builds a clinic's site and changes it when you ask.
Method
PupPilot publishes this guide and sells veterinary websites, and it is one of the companies in the table. Every statement about another company comes from that company's own pages and published terms, read October 8, 2026. Each row links the pages it draws on and gives the date of any terms it cites, and where two of a company's pages say different things, the row gives both. Companies are listed in alphabetical order. "Not published" means the company's pages give no price for its website service, and "Not documented" means the pages we read don't describe it.

Questions clinics ask
How much does a veterinary website cost?
Among the companies that publish a figure, a site on the company's own platform is $109 a month at eVetSites for clinics with a VIN membership ($169 for others) and starts at $327 a month at LifeLearn WebDVM, and VetMatrix says its plans start from $99. Agencies that publish a price add a build or design fee to a monthly fee: Digital Empathy charges $2,750 to build and $199 a month, and Vet Marketing Agency $499 to design and $699 a month. VetNetwork's marketing packages, which have no website build line, run from $1,997 to $7,997 a month. PupPilot's website is $100 a month per clinic plus $25 a month per location, so a single-location clinic pays $125 a month, with no activation fee.
Do veterinary website contracts renew automatically?
Several do. VetMatrix's terms renew for a term as long as the first, Doctor Multimedia's contract renews every twelve months, and LifeLearn's WebDVM terms renew monthly or annually, each unless the clinic gives written notice at least 30 days ahead (VetMatrix also asks for a completed cancellation form). GeniusVets' terms run 12 months first and then renew for 12 months or month to month, Digital Empathy's renew monthly with 30 days' notice to end, and eVetSites' renew in one-month terms after a 30-day trial. With PupPilot, no long-term contract is required, and you can leave whenever you like.
Who owns a veterinary website?
The contracts divide it into the domain and the content. On the domain, LifeLearn's WebDVM terms say it remains the clinic's property, HostVet's homepage says it's registered to the practice and eVetSites' FAQ says it belongs to the clinic, while Doctor Multimedia's contract doesn't say who owns it (its healthcare marketing page says it stays in the clinic's name) and PetDesk's provider terms don't say who registers it. On the content, Digital Empathy's terms leave all rights to it with the clinic, and PetDesk's keep the deliverables with PetDesk and assign the clinic its logo, media files and copy once fees are paid. With PupPilot, your domain stays registered to you, and PupPilot makes no claim to your content.
Which companies publish their prices?
Of the companies in this guide, Digital Empathy, eVetSites, HostVet, LifeLearn WebDVM, PupPilot, Vet Marketing Agency, VetMatrix and VetNetwork give a figure on their own pages. VetMatrix and LifeLearn give starting prices only, and VetNetwork's figures are for marketing packages with no website build line. Doctor Multimedia gives prices for its AI search add-ons but not for its website plans, GeniusVets and PetDesk give no price for their packages or plans, and iVET360's page says its websites are free without giving a monthly figure.
